So today has had its highs and its lows. We woke up and spent our last morning at the hospital. We were able to be with Maddy for a few hours and Amber was able to feed Maddy with a bottle for the 1st time, IT WAS AMAZING!!! But then we had to leave our little girl in the NICU and we had to go home, it was not easy but we also needed to be with our other angel Kennedy who was missing us so much. We will be spending the next few weeks in and out of St. Marks and be watching as Maddy continues to get her strength and as her Milk intake continues to grow (she has gone from 3cc-4-8-14-11-13 today). Thanks again for all those who have been showing us their love and support, it means a lot.

she is such a beautiful baby! i think she looks like her mother... =) next to home, pcmc is the absolute best place! they took great care of me, they will take even better care of maddy. please give her hugs and kisses from us, and know that you are in our prayers. we love you tons, and hope to meet maddy SOON!! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteBoy she looked HUNGRY! It is so good to see that she is eating. I bet it is hard to leave her and go home but at least you can feel assured that she is in good hands. Do you need me to watch Kennedy during the days? Or even at night so that you can be at the hospital. I would be happy to help in any way. Please let me know. Love you guys. ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful! She looked like she was doing great with the bottle. It will take time but each day she will get stronger. You couldn't ask for better help and assistant. When I watched what they did for Boston I became a ferm believer that is the best place ever. They will take good care of her. YOu are truely blessed. I love you and am praying for you tons. This Sunday we are having a special fast for Teresa. ( Her thyroid gets normal so she can get pregnant). A long with this family fast we will be fasting for Maddy too. Love you Tons!!!
